licenzio website terms and conditions
These terms apply when you use licenzio.co.uk. The site is free to read and is meant for readers aged 18 and older. It gives information about gambling licences and is not an offer of gambling or a source of advice. Our privacy policy covers the little personal data the site receives. If you do not agree with the terms, please do not use licenzio.
Who operates licenzio and who may use it
Published by licenzio.co.uk. For readers aged 18 and over.
The site is operated and published by licenzio.co.uk, contactable only at contact@licenzio.co.uk. More about the publisher is in About licenzio. Readers must be at least 18. licenzio is a publisher of information. It is not a gambling operator, a regulator or a financial, legal or tax adviser. There is nothing to join or sign up for, so using the site creates no account and no agreement beyond these terms.
What the website provides
Guides, comparisons and register summaries.
licenzio provides written guides to casino licences and the brands that hold them, built from regulator registers, casino terms and law. Pages describe what a record shows on the date given. They do not say a casino is safe, suitable for you or available where you live, and nothing on the site is a recommendation or an invitation to gamble. Whether you may gamble with a given operator depends on your own location and the law that applies to you.
The site also offers a search of the Curaçao register. It runs in your browser on a dated copy of the regulator’s list, so a result reflects that edition and not the register as it stands on the day you search.
Permitted use and intellectual property
Read, link and quote briefly. Do not copy wholesale.
The text, design and layout of the site belong to the publisher, except for third-party names, logos and register extracts, which belong to their owners and appear as information.
You may read the site, link to any page and quote short extracts with attribution.
You may not copy substantial parts, republish the site or present it as your own, scrape it in a way that burdens the service, or use it for anything unlawful.
Screenshots of casino pages appear whole and unedited, and they remain the work of the brands that own the pages. If you believe something on the site uses your material without the right to do so, email contact@licenzio.co.uk with the page address and the material concerned.
Third-party websites and commercial links
Links point to official sources, not to casinos.
Where the site links outside itself, the links go to regulators, registers and official documents. No link on licenzio earns a commission, and no listed brand pays to appear. We do not control other websites, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on them. Brand names appear as information only. Official pages can move or change after we read them, so if a link no longer works, please tell us at contact@licenzio.co.uk.
Accuracy, availability and limitations
Records change. Check the source before you act.
Always confirm a licence on the issuer’s own register and read a casino’s current terms before you decide anything.
We aim to be accurate and say when each fact was read, but registers, casino terms and laws change after we read them. The site is provided as it is, with no promise that it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, the publisher is not liable for loss that comes from relying on the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer. If gambling is a concern, see responsible gambling and support.
Complaints, changes and governing terms
Write to us first. Terms may change.
To make a complaint or report an error, email contact@licenzio.co.uk; see the editorial policy for how corrections work. We may update these terms, and the date at the top shows the current version; using the site after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you keep any rights you have to bring a claim in your own courts, and consumers keep the mandatory rights of the place where they live. If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest of them still applies.
