Curaçao betting sites and bookmakers rated

Curaçao betting sites run their sportsbooks under the same operator licence that covers casino games, so the licence says little about how a bet is settled. Four bookmakers are set side by side on what their own rules say about voids, cash out, payouts and complaints. It is information for adult readers, not an invitation to bet.

The Curaçao sportsbook list: bookmakers compared

Rated here means checked, not scored: the register’s licence row, a certificate naming the domain and the bookmaker’s rules.

Selection criterion: a bookmaker with a number in the register dated 20 October 2026 and published rules or terms. A certificate proves a domain, a register row only an operator, a number and a status. Complete licence records come first, then those with a gap, alphabetical inside each group. Sources: the authority’s register and certificates, and each bookmaker’s own rules, read the way our methodology describes.

A casino listing does not prove betting permission, because the certificate wording is the same for every holder. Only a bookmaker’s own rules show that it runs a sportsbook, so each profile draws on those pages.

Cloudbet: void legs at odds 1, no bonus-bet cash out

Curaçao CGAHalcyon Super Holdings B.V.
OGL/2024/328/0599Certificate: Active Register: Assessment in progress
Certificate names the domain
Yes, granted 23/05/2025

The rules, quoted “If a multiple contains a selection that is being voided the odds for this selection will be set to 1” and “Bets placed using bonus funds are not eligible for cash out.” (sportsbook rules: Multiples; Cash out)

Cloudbet publishes sport-by-sport settlement rules, a bet builder page and a cash out section, which makes its record the most complete of the four. The register prints an expiry of 23-May-26 beside “Assessment in progress” while the certificate reads “Active”, and neither source explains the difference.

Linebet: cancelled legs dropped, cash out sold as a bet slip

Curaçao CGAAspro N.V.
OGL/2024/565/0553Certificate: Active Register: Indefinite
Certificate names the domain
Yes, granted 11/11/2024
Rules pages
A contents list of 31 sections

The certificate, quoted “This is to certify that linebet.com is operated by Aspro N.V. … under license number OGL/2024/565/0553 … The license was granted on 11/11/2024 and its current status is Active” (CGA certificate)

Linebet’s general rules cap the odds at 200 on a single and 500 on an accumulator, and set the maximum stake for each selection separately. A cancelled leg in an accumulator or system bet is left out of the settlement rather than voiding the slip. Cash out takes the form of a “Bet slip sale”, in full or in part, which Linebet says it cannot guarantee for every bet (3.1).

The certificate and the register give the same operator and number, which is the strongest licence record of the four. Its footer gives a grant date of 1 August 2025 against 11 November 2024 on the certificate.

1xBet: a capped return per bet, a 10-day complaint window

Curaçao CGACaecus N.V.
OGL/2024/1262/0493Register: Indefinite
Gap
No certificate found for this domain
Rules pages
A contents list of 33 sections

The rules, quoted “The Client should only contact the Curaçao eGaming. (Master-Licensee) when he/she believes the Company is in breach of the license.” (betting rules, section 6, point 7)

The rules document names Caecus N.V. as the licence holder and has a section for each sport, from football and horse racing to beach football and esports. Its general rules limit the return to €50,000 per bet, or the same sum in another currency (3), and a complaint has to reach it in writing within 10 days.

The quoted clause still points to Curaçao eGaming, one of the master licence holders of the old system. The authority says the 2024 law moved away from master licences and sublicences and that it now supervises operators directly, so a possible licence breach is reported to the Curaçao Gaming Authority.

Stake: one void selection voids a whole Same Game Multi

Curaçao CGAMedium Rare N.V.
OGL/2024/1451/0918Register: Assessment in progress
Gap
No certificate found for this domain

The policy, quoted “For combined Same Game Multis (SGMs), each individual SGM is treated as a separate ‘leg’ within the overall bet. If a selection within any SGM is voided, only that specific SGM will be voided” (sportsbook policy)

Stake’s sportsbook policy is a single long page with a section per sport. A Same Game Multi, its bet builder, is void as a whole when any one of its selections is void. In a Stake Shield bet a void leg is taken out and the odds are recalculated, and the bet is voided if they fall below 1.01.

The terms print the licence number but carry no certificate link, and the register prints an expiry of 9-Jun-26 beside “Assessment in progress”.

How Curaçao bookmakers are licensed

A Curaçao bookmaker holds the same B2C operator licence as a casino.

Curaçao’s gaming law defines a game of chance to include sports betting and poker. The 20 October 2026 register lists 666 licences, 571 of them B2C, and prints no activity against any of them. Its certificates say only that the holder may offer games of chance. Our Curaçao gaming licence guide explains the 2024 reform and the status words. Casino operators under the same kind of licence are compared in our guide to Curaçao online casinos.

Two records matter for a bookmaker. The certificate portal names the domain, the operator and its licence number, while the register gives the number and printed status. Licences are granted for the domains the holder lists with the authority, which is why a certificate that names a different domain tells you more than a footer badge. Adding or changing a domain needs the authority’s prior permission, so a sportsbook that moves to a new address should have a certificate for that address too.

Curaçao betting sites for UK players: who can open an account

The Gambling Commission says remote gambling for consumers in Great Britain needs one of its licences, and that a licence issued in another country does not permit an operator to serve them. Its public register takes a business name, domain or account number as the search, which is the quickest way to see whether a bookmaker holds a British licence.

Each bookmaker’s own terms say who may register. Cloudbet’s clause 7.1.3 names the United Kingdom among the countries where a customer must not be physically located, and clause 10.20 lets it void bets placed from such a place. Stake’s clause 14.3 names the United Kingdom as a prohibited jurisdiction, and clause 14.4 treats a VPN or proxy used to disguise a location as a breach. Linebet’s clause 2 includes the United Kingdom in its explicitly forbidden territories. 1xBet gives no list and names the United Kingdom only as a country where use of the site may be considered illegal.

Cloudbet’s and Stake’s clauses are quoted, with five other brands’ terms, in our guide to Curaçao casinos accepting UK players. Before reading a bookmaker’s terms, it helps to check a Curaçao licence and see which company really holds it. This page contains no link to any bookmaker.

Sports and markets

Football, racing and esports

Cloudbet’s rules treat soccer halves as 45 minutes plus stoppage time and exclude extra time and penalty shootouts, so a bet on the second half ignores a shootout. Its horse racing rules say bets are win only and singles only, and that a non-runner triggers a Rule 4 reduction, a factor based on the horse’s chance of winning that affects winning bets only.

Stake runs esports on in-game results from the official stream and voids every bet on a map that starts with fewer than the full number of players. 1xBet’s rules index gives football, horse racing, bicycle racing, beach football and esports a section each, and Linebet’s index lists 31 sections.

In-play bets and cash out terms

For live bets, 1xBet settles a match interrupted and not continued within 5 hours of its start at odds of 1, unless the result is already decided. Cloudbet and Stake both warn that a cash out request carries a time delay and may fail if the price changes or the market is suspended. Stake may also remove cash out from an account that abuses price movement or latency.

Void legs and postponed events

Take a £10 stake on a three-leg multiple at odds of 2.00, 1.50 and 3.00. If every leg wins, the return is £90. Under Cloudbet’s rule, a void second leg is set to odds of 1, so the other two legs pay 2.00 × 1.00 × 3.00 and the return is £60. 1xBet’s exclusion of a cancelled leg gives the same figure.

A match due at 15:00 on Saturday and played in full at 12:00 on Sunday finishes 21 hours late. Stake’s 48-hour rule lets bets stand, while Cloudbet’s soccer rule voids periods not completed within 12 hours of kickoff. Its general terms use the end of the next calendar date and add that some markets have their own rules, listed under each sport (10.19).

Bet builders and cash out disputes

Cloudbet’s bet builder page sets a rule per sport. A selected player who does not take part voids that selection and, in the sports described, the whole builder. Stake voids a whole Same Game Multi when any selection is void. An accepted cash out cannot be changed (Cloudbet) or may be reversed if settled in error (Stake).

A withdrawn cash out offer is the commonest dispute. Take a £10 single at odds of 3.00 with a cash out offer of £18 on screen. A goal goes in during the request’s delay, the market is suspended and the request fails, so the bet stays open and settles on the result: £30 if it wins, nothing if it loses. Cloudbet and Stake both say a request can fail this way, which makes the figure on screen an offer rather than a promise. The £18 is an illustration, not a bookmaker’s price.

Free bets and sports bonuses

Qualifying odds and stake returns

Cloudbet’s sports reward is not a free bet. Its terms describe Weekly Sports Cash Drops, cash amounts set at Cloudbet’s discretion from the previous week’s settled sports betting, and say sports bets earn no Rakeback. A bet placed with bonus funds cannot be cashed out.

1xBet gives promo codes to individual customers at its discretion, by text message or in My Messages, and each code has its own conditions, listed under Promo Code Check. Bets placed with a promo code are non-refundable, a free bet issued with one may not be used in part, and the bookmaker may withhold such free bets. Its gifts, which include free spins and bonus funds, need a deposit first unless the rules say otherwise. Stake states that voided bets add nothing to the wagered amount or to VIP progress.

The sterling arithmetic matters before any offer. A £10 free bet at odds of 3.00 that wins returns £20, which is the profit only. An offer that returns the stake would pay £30. This is a worked illustration of the method, not any bookmaker’s offer. The offer’s own terms should state which applies, along with the minimum qualifying odds, the date the free bet expires and any cap on what it can win.

Bookmaker payouts, limits and fees

BookmakerWithdrawal conditionsFees
CloudbetTotal deposits wagered first (8.8); crypto withdrawals typically processed within 24 hours of approval, subject to KYC checks, as an estimate only (7.5.11)Handling charge of up to 5% on deposits and withdrawals (7.1.10)
LinebetStakes must add up to the deposits, each at odds of 1.1 or more; paid only to the deposit details; processing up to 7 business days, by method (6.2)A service charge on BTC deposits and withdrawals; payment-system charges usually reimbursed, though not always (6.2)
1xBetRequests processed 24/7; withdrawal can be refused if stakes placed do not add up to the deposits at minimum odds of 1.1Payment-system charges are usually reimbursed by the bookmaker; currency conversion at the site’s rate when processed
Stake100% of a deposit wagered first, for fiat (8.5) and crypto (8.10); paid by the deposit method unless Stake decides otherwise (8.3)Withdrawal fee at its discretion (8.9)

Payout caps differ more than the headline odds suggest. Cloudbet caps the payout on a multiple at €1,000,000 (13.4), 1xBet limits the return to €50,000 per bet or the same sum in another currency (3), and Linebet caps the odds rather than the payout, at 200 on a single and 500 on an accumulator (3).

Maximum stakes move with the market and the customer. Cloudbet’s maximum stake is whatever it accepts when the bet goes in, a bet above its automatic acceptance level is reviewed by hand and may be declined (13.2), and an excess accepted in error is paid back (10.15). 1xBet may limit stakes and odds on specific markets or for individual customers without notice, and it pays winnings within 30 calendar days of the official result of the last event on the slip.

Clause numbers refer to each bookmaker’s terms. A processing estimate describes the bookmaker’s side only, and the bank, wallet or blockchain adds its own time.

Betting apps and mobile sites

A native app is a store listing with a named publisher, while a mobile site runs in the browser. Apple’s UK App Store lists no Cloudbet, Linebet or 1xBet app, and under Stake only unrelated apps, Stakemate by Bet Theory UK LTD among them. Cloudbet runs as a mobile site, with no store link on its home page or in its terms. Linebet’s menu lists iOS and Android apps without naming a publisher. 1xBet says its Android app is not on Google Play and points to the App Store for iOS, so its Android version has no store listing whose publisher can be checked. Check the publisher name in any listing before installing.

New Curaçao betting sites and rebrands

The register file dated 20 October 2026 holds 50 rows with no status printed, all issued between 5 May and 20 October 2026. The former Orange Seal expired on 15 October 2025, and one of the old master licence holders, Gaming Curacao, says it ceased operations on 18 August 2024 and that the seals it issued are inactive. A seal is therefore no guide to a current licence.

Rebrands show up as a domain mismatch. The certificate for the brand Jackbit names the domain jack.com, operated by Data Link Digital B.V., not jackbit.com, and its register row prints an expiry of 23-Jul-26 beside “Assessment in progress”. To check a site yourself, follow the steps on our Curaçao licence check page.

Frequently asked questions

Does a casino licence also cover a sportsbook?

The law defines a game of chance to include sports betting, so one operator licence can cover both. The register prints only B2C or B2B, never the activity, so a bookmaker’s own rules are the only proof it takes bets.

How do I check a bookmaker’s account company?

Find the licensee’s name and its licence number in the site’s terms, then search the authority’s register for that number. Next, open the certificate page linked from the footer and check that it names the domain you are on. A footer seal on its own proves nothing.

Do free bets return the stake?

Usually not. A free bet normally pays only the profit when it wins, so a £10 free bet at odds of 3.00 returns £20, while a stake-returned bet at the same odds would pay £30. Read the offer’s own terms for qualifying odds, expiry and any cap on winnings.

What happens if an event is postponed?

It depends on the bookmaker’s time limit for the sport. Bets on a postponed event are void and the stake is returned when the match is not completed inside that limit, which ranges from hours to days. Bets on markets already decided normally stand.

Are betting winnings taxed in the UK?

No. The Gambling Commission states that customers’ gambling winnings are not taxed, whatever the amount, and that tax falls on operators’ profits. HMRC’s manual adds that betting and gambling as such do not amount to trading. Questions about other income go to HMRC.

Which terms apply to a disputed cash out?

Both do. The cash out section of the bookmaker’s sportsbook rules sets how cash out works, and the general terms apply alongside it. Cloudbet’s terms say they prevail where the two differ (2.1). Screenshots of the betslip, the time of the request and any error message help a complaint. An accepted cash out is generally final, so the dispute usually turns on whether the offer was valid.

Responsible gambling and support

Betting is for adults aged 18 or over. Call GamCare’s National Gambling Helpline at no charge on 0808 8020 133, open 24 hours a day, and GAMSTOP offers free self-exclusion from UK licensed gambling sites. Further services are listed under gambling support. Curaçao licences do not give the protections of a British licence.
